About Hannah Weirich
Hannah Weirich, born 1980 in Allgäu, Germany. Studied with Federico Agostini at the TrossingenSchool of Music(1992–99) and with Ingolf Turban at the StuttgartUniversity of Music (1999–2004), later with Dénes Zsigmondy and Markus Wolf. Awards from the city of Lindenberg (1996) and the Jakob Stainer Violin Competition (1997). Scholarship from the Rudolf Eberle Foundation, 2004. Member of Trio Fridegk since 1992. Awarded first prize at the Hradec Beethoven Competition (2000) and the Kulturpreis of the city of Friedrichshafen (2003). Artist-in-residence at the University of California, Davis, 2003. Permanent member of musikFabrik since October 2005.
