Wonderful Christmas Time for Two

This is Bertold Hummel’s (1925–2002) final work: well-known and lesser-known Christmas carols in a form stripped down to the essentials, with only one counter-voice. The composer shared a long friendship with the painter Sepp Wurster (1919–2008). The illustrations in this volume, although not created specifically for it, nevertheless wonderfully reflect the mood inherent in the songs. These bibliophile booklets also make excellent Christmas gifts.
