Description
The Carmel (IN) High School Orchestra will present the world premiere of the newly-commissioned work The Knobstone Trail at the Midwest Clinic in Chicago, December 18, 2019. Stephen Lias has for many years given his impressions of our National Parks and natural landmarks as musical soundscapes and was the perfect choice to commemorate this important natural resource. The Knobstone has grown to about 60 miles of rugged backcountry hiking trails, with plans to expand to even more, stretching between Louisville and Indianapolis.
