Ready for Anything is a playful eight minutes of rapidly-changing moods  concentrating the contrasts of a three-movement work into one. From its opening cadenzas to its joyful conclusion, the instruments swap and share the musical material, shifting from exuberance to reflection and back again, keeping players and listeners on the alert! Ready for Anything is a bravura ensemble piece for a quintet to have fun with.
