Le Langage musical en liberté
Product Details
Description
Musical Language in Freedom is designed for pianists, harpsichordists, organists, and other instrumentalists with some piano knowledge.
Its specific aim is to refine their listening skills by offering a keyboard-based method for learning compositional techniques (harmony, counterpoint).
This learning will foster a deeper understanding of repertoire from different periods, promote faster reading, and give greater ease to instrumental playing.
The acquisition of digital and then auditory reflexes will encourage them to improvise and compose, developing their memory and imagination. It will help them understand what their instincts inspire.
This work is presented in three levels of difficulty.
To make learning even more engaging and effective, the method includes recordings of all the pieces (contrapuntal basses, accompanied melodies), as well as a version of the melodies alone. Thanks to these unaccompanied versions, students can practice playing the keyboard using high-quality audio.
127 audio files are available on the publisher's website, along with all the original lyrics for the melodies in the repertoire and their French translations.
A second volume is dedicated to performances of all the texts in the first volume, each analysed and accompanied by explanations; these will allow students to further develop their skills.
