After the huge success of their instrumental school "Listen, read & play", Jaap Kastelein and Michiel Oldenkamp now turned their attention to the wind classes and developed a completely new school for young wind players from the 3rd grade upwards. Good contacts in the world of the wind class and with music academies in the Netherlands and Germany provided a wealth of information. Two years of test work and a lot of experience form the basis of this new school.

"Learning & playing together" combines the wind class with modern instrumental lessons – which often take place in groups – and is unique in this respect! It contains both the orchestral pieces for the wind class and specially developed exercises for instrumental lessons and builds on each other. This logical structure and the clever selection of pieces help pupils to successfully learn their instrument.

A special website has been created for children in flower classes. Here you will find everything that is directly related to the contents of the book, but also interesting facts about the instrument, short instructions, audio files to play along with and the solutions to the puzzles. As each musician receives their own access code to the website, it is not accessible to everyone.
