Description
In 1998 Barbara Heller created this exceedingly poetic song cycle. Filled with calm serenity ‘Come una colomba’ is steeped in the beauty of nature, colour and light. The poems by the father of modern Italian poetry Giuseppe Ungaretti (1888–1970) are – in a deliberate intermingling of the two languages – interspersed with German versions by the poet Ingeborg Bachmann.
