Bonnie Dundee

Originally, this ballad referred to the town of Dundee, but ‘Bonnie Dundee’ became one name for Viscount Dundee. He was also known as ‘Bloody Clavers’ and became a national Scottish hero. He was the victor of the Battle of Killiecrankie and was fatally wounded there.
