Blue Jacaranda

The dazzling textures and color of jacaranda trees lured Dorff to create a musical portrait that sounds like these enticing trees look. Overlapping thin textures within lilac-colored florets flickering in the breeze inspired the playfulness of two flute parts quickly teasing in and out of sync with each other, over the rich yet gentle piano’s harmony and light textures.
