Billy and the Carnival

Commissioned by the Sacramento Symphony as a jazz-rock infused guide to orchestral instruments, Billy and the Carnival tells the story of a young boy who discovers musicians coming to his park to play a concert. Within the course of the story, every instrument is introduced by name followed by a characteristic solo. The new illustrated storybook is the perfect companion for young listeners, whether at home or in the classroom, allowing them to follow along with delightful drawings by Mint Lee. They will learn the names of the instruments, their signature sounds, and how they fit with the other instruments of the orchestra. CD available on Bridge Records.
