After Dinner Music

This album presents a selection of shorter pieces by the composer in versions for violin and piano. Included are hits such as Russian Rag, Slicked Back Tango, Naive Waltz or Peggy's Minute Rag, many of which were written for Kats-Chernins friends. Players and listeners immerse themselves in the typical sound world of the Australian composer, sometimes melancholic, sometimes ironic, sometimes biting, sometimes full of drive, always directly accessible.
