Vom Glück des Vogelgesangs

Prof. Dr. Silke Kipper studied biology and received her doctorate from the FU Berlin. Her research in Germany and abroad focused on the question of how animals exchange information via songs, calls and other sounds. She studied the songs of many bird species, with a particular research passion for the nightingale. Kipper now lives with her family in Prignitz in Brandenburg, where she works as a primary school teacher and helps children discover nature on their doorstep.
