'Romantic Guitar Anthology' Vol.1 is a graded repertoire book suitable for students of c.2-3 years of playing experience. Standard teaching pieces by the 19th Century's leading composer-guitarists Carulli, Giuliani and Sor are presented alongside rarely available works by Jaime Bosch, Johann Kaspar Mertz and Franz Tuček. Also includes original guitar pieces by Berlioz and Paganini.

Composer biographies and extensive teaching notes on each piece are included together with a recording of all of the works in the anthology (for download), performed by Jens Franke.
