Description

In 2005 Krzysztof Penderecki dedicated Ciaccona, originally composed for string orchestra, to his friend and companion on life's journey, the late Pope John Paul II, and added it to his Polish Requiem as an interlude. After the publication of several frequently performed versions for various instrumentations, Schott now publishes this arrangement by Janusz Wojtarowicz for three accordions.
