Practice Room Terms & Conditions

By mak­ing a book­ing with Schott Music Lon­don, the cus­tomer agrees to the fol­low­ing terms and con­di­tions.

Booking Procedure

Rooms may be booked online, by phone, by email or in per­son and must be paid for in advance.

The min­i­mum dura­tion for a book­ing is 30 min­utes.

Cancellations & Amendments

If you need to can­cel your book­ing, refunds can be offered under the fol­low­ing con­di­tions:

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice – No refund
  • Less than 48 hours’ notice – 50% refund
  • More than 48 hours’ notice – Full refund

We reserve the right to amend or can­cel your book­ing at any time with­out lia­bil­i­ty to us.  We will try our best to make alter­na­tive arrange­ments.  If that is not pos­si­ble we will refund any monies paid with respect to that book­ing.

For cus­tomers book­ing prac­tice rooms using the online sys­tem, an admin fee of £1 will be deduct­ed from any applic­a­ble refunds.

Use of the Practice Rooms

You will be expect­ed to leave the prac­tice rooms in the con­di­tion in which you find them and must remove all of your per­son­al belong­ings at the end of your ses­sion.

Please be aware that there may be a book­ing imme­di­ate­ly fol­low­ing yours, so you will be required to leave the room prompt­ly at the end of your ses­sion.

Smok­ing is not per­mit­ted in any area in this build­ing.  We reserve the right to eject any per­son caught in vio­la­tion of this pol­i­cy.

Food and drink must not be placed on the pianos.

As a con­di­tion of your use of the­se rehearsal rooms, you agree that you will not use the room for any pur­pose that is unlaw­ful.

WiFi

WiFi is avail­able to our cus­tomers in our shop and prac­tice rooms at no extra charge.

Terms of Use:

We can­not guar­an­tee the WiFi ser­vice or the speci­fic speed of the con­nec­tion.  We accept no respon­si­bil­i­ty for any poten­tial loss of con­nec­tion.  We also have no con­trol over infor­ma­tion obtained through the Inter­net and can­not be held respon­si­ble for its con­tent or accu­ra­cy. Use of the ser­vice is sub­ject to the user’s own risk. We reserve the right to remove, block, fil­ter, or restrict by any oth­er means any mate­ri­al that, in our sole dis­cre­tion, may be ille­gal, may sub­ject us to lia­bil­i­ty. We may coop­er­ate with legal author­i­ties and/or third par­ties in the inves­ti­ga­tion of any sus­pect­ed or alleged crime or civil wrong. As a con­di­tion of your use of the­se rehearsal rooms, you agree that you will not use the inter­net con­nec­tion for any­thing which is ille­gal.

Damage & Theft

The cus­tomer mak­ing the book­ing is respon­si­ble for any dam­age to the room, prop­er­ty and equip­ment and will be charged for the replace­ment or repair.

We make every effort to ensure the con­di­tion of our prac­tice rooms and pianos.  It is advis­able that if you do dis­cov­er any dam­age to the room or the pianos, to noti­fy a mem­ber of staff as soon as pos­si­ble.

Cus­tomers must not move the pianos under any cir­cum­stances.  If a piano needs to be repo­si­tioned, please ask a mem­ber of staff first.

Schott Music Lon­don and the prac­tice rooms are open to the pub­lic.  Cus­tomers are respon­si­ble for the secu­ri­ty of their own belong­ings.
